Description and Application

The SAUR Mobile Restrainer Pin Type is optional in unloading systems for B-trains and road train trucks. Objective: Split the load in two locks when unloading b-trains and road train trucks. Through this part of the load is removed from the restrainer chassis and, as such, from the trucks' king pin/fifth wheel/hitch.

Specifications

  • Operation: The Mobile Restrainer Pin Type is hydraulically driven. B-trains or road train trucks are first locked on the fixed chassis restrainer; and the, the operator simply has to shift the lock as the bucket becomes aligned between the last two tires of the rear wheelset (of the last trailer). Once aligned, the operator must activate the locking pin until the bucket is above the tire.
  • NOTE: As soon as the equipment begins to rise (to unload) the pressure on the system increases. Thus, the Mobile Restrainer Pin Type will create a forward force, limited at 100 bar (at a total of 16 tons), split over the two locked wheels.
