SAUR participates in the 35th Brazil-Germany Economic Meeting

The 35th Brazilian-German Economic Meeting (EBBA), which took place on November 13 and 14 in Porto Alegre/RS, was attended by SAUR and a significant number of companies from Brazil and Germany, as well as governmental authorities.
The event was led by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and the Federation of German Industries (BDI), hosted by the Federation of Industries of Rio Grande do Sul (FIERGS) and the Brazil-Germany Chamber (AHKRS), that supported the event.
During the one-and-a-half day workshop it was discussed about partnerships in education, infrastructure, smart cities, startups, social welfare and, above all, the European Community Agreement with Mercosur. Those German representatives mentioned that it is difficult to advance in an environment of uncertainties and that Brazil growth must be based on international policies and rules that allow the exchange of knowledge, technologies and innovations, in addition to the need for the country to advance in its legislation, defending brands and patents.
The AHKRS, in which Ingrid SAUR is also a director, tried to show the German delegation that we are the best state in Brazil to invest in, we have a culture focused on work, education and training of professionals engaged in the development. "The goal of AHKRS - Chamber of German Commerce in Rio Grande do Sul was to be a game-changer, before and after the event. The issues dealt were of the utmost importance, in particular the Europe-Mercosur Trade Agreement and the Brazilian double taxation. As a differential for the future EEBA Meeting, the Board suggested that associates participate with exhibition stands to show products, their companies values and beliefs and also existing partnerships", they explain.
